See below current premiums for the different Active Health Plan options provided by the AFTRA Health Fund. Note that you must meet qualification and minimum earnings requirements to participate in any of the Plans listed below. Also, note that you can now
pay your Health Plan premiums online.
Active Health Plan quarterly premiums (effective January 1, 2010)
Individual Health Plan premium
Family Health Plan premium
- Participant only ... $346 per quarter
- Participant and legal spouse / domestic partner ... $606 per quarter
- Participant and children ... $606 per quarter
- Full family ... $664 per quarter
Active Health Plan quarterly buy-up rates (effective April 1, 2010)
If you only qualify for Individual coverage under the AFTRA Health Plan, you may choose to "buy up" to Family coverage by paying an additional premium amount each quarter.
- Participant plus one dependent ... $2,190 per quarter
- Participant plus two or more dependents ... $3,861 per quarter
COBRA continuation coverage monthly premiums (effective April 1, 2010)
- Participant only ... $598 per month
- Participant plus one dependent ... $1,225 per month
- Participant plus two or more dependents ... $1,793 per month
